Each headshot session includes:

• Pre-shoot guidance (wardrobe, make-up etc)

• Up to one hour of studio time

• An online proofing gallery provided within 7 days of your session

• Number of retouched images will vary, depending on package selected

• First and foremost, whatever you choose should be something you feel comfortable and confident in. That confident feeling will help you look your best.

• Ensure whatever clothing items you bring are free of wrinkles (iron or steam ahead).

• You will likely want to bring several colour options, keeping in mind your skin tone, potential background colour options and personal style. Do you have a signature colour that you’re known for wearing often? Bring it!

• Solid colours generally photograph better than patterns and prints.

• Bring items that compliment your shape. Clothing that is somewhat form fitting (without being restrictively tight) will photograph better than loose, baggy clothing and tends to present a more professional look.

• Sleeves - While often overlooked, sleeves play a large role in the overall look of your photos. Generally speaking, a somewhat form-fitting sleeve is going to give your arms the best appearance in your headshots. Sleeveless blouses or dresses can work, if your arms are something you would like to highlight. I recommend avoiding clothing with capped shoulders as it can appear bulky in photos.

• You may want to bring options with different necklines. Keep in mind the image you are intending to portray.

• Jewelry can be a great way to accent your headshot and add in some personal style. Simple is often better here, as we don’t want the accessories to take the focus off of the main event (YOU!). Try to be aware of how your jewelry interacts with your various clothing selections (particularly necklaces/necklines).
